Rickett’s Glen Winter Series

Hello Everyone,

Last weekend I visited Rickett's Glen State Park and made a nice group of images in two days. Well, with everything that is going on in my day to day life it has taken me all week to process them and I still have a few more to work on.

Let's talk about what we find attractive in an image. In life, we develop a vision largely due to being influenced over the years by society. This affects what we find appealing in images and has a huge bearing on how we see things as photographers. Because of this influence, along with a great deal of time I've spent outdoors, I have developed a certain style that appeals to me. Not everyone sees what I see or even finds it attractive, but as the old saying goes "photograph to please yourself" and that is what I am doing!

Here's the group of images that attracted me.

Best of Light,

Ed
