Hot Air Balloons

Good morning Everyone,
It's been way too long since I did a blog post so I thought I'd throw one out today. At last week's NECCC conference I managed to pull off a couple of nice shots of the hot air balloons and thought I would share!

As with all of my images I used Nik’s Software to process this image! If you are interested in saving yourself a few $$$ on any of Nik’s products feel free to use my discount code “EHEATON”.

Thanks for checking in and stay tuned for many more images and notes from the field.

NECCC Weekend

Gearing up for a weekend of lectures and networking with some of the finest in the business! Upon arrival yesterday we were greeted by the coordinators of NECCC, Antoinette and Susan and a great support cast that is making sure everything runs smoothly. Then we were treated to a Pizza Social were I saw a few of my old friends and met quite a few new ones.

Well I'm looking forward to a fun weekend and I hope you all have a great weekend too!

Best of Light,
Ed

Tucquan Glen

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to share an image that I made a few weeks ago.  My friend Michael Lawrence gave me a heads-up to the timing of the rhododendron blooms so Kelly and I took a trip over to Tucquan Glen to shoot. This was my first time capturing the blooms at Tucquan and it really was a magical place there in the gorge.  We had soft even light which was perfect.

Old Patriarch

Hello Everyone,
After a little searching and hiking my son and I found the Old Patriarch in the Grand Tetons National Park. This majestic old tree was standing tall among the sage with the Tetons range in the background. Unfortunately I didn’t have the light I was hoping for but when I take my group there in the fall I hope they have some amazing light!

I’m finally getting to the end of my processing from my Tetons trip. I shot a number of panoramas and wanted to share. Some of these files are huge and I actually left the file name as the title to show how many shots are in each stitched image.

As with all of my images I used Nik's Software
